After deciding to embark on a project to renew and update our en-suite bathroom, Just Bathrooms was recommended to us by friends; on contacting David McCarthy, he visited our home. His very useful suggestions and his careful attention to our requirements were followed within 24 hours by a detailed quotation.
The quoted time was to start on an agreed Monday and the job to be completed by Friday. A job of this nature is not cheap but the total cost can obviously be influenced by the cost of the bathroom ware chosen. David was very attentive to every detail of the job and accompanied us to the showrooms to purchase the ware. The job was completed on time and within budget.
The work was carried out in a very professional manner. David and his team were particularly attentive to ensuring that the disruption inherent in a bathroom installation was kept to a minimum. The work area, hallway, stairs and landing were cleaned each evening. The team were always courteous, industrious and skilled in the many tasks involved. The end result is a very beautiful modern bathroom with which we're are very pleased.

Just Bathrooms have recently completed the renovation of our bathroom and we are absolutely delighted with the finished product. Working with David and his team from Just Bathrooms has been a great experience.
From design through construction and finish this project was completed in a most professional way and one that we had not experienced before. David proved invaluable in helping us to design and plan the many changes that went in to creating our beautiful new bathroom. While there appeared to be quite a number of initial problems and challenges to be dealt with, David was only interested in solutions, and true to his word all problems were overcome.
Our bathroom was completed within a week and inconvenience was kept to a minimum. They cleaned and tidied up every evening and rounded off with a complete cleaning of the entire house when the work was finished.
When it comes to bathrooms its hard to imagine anyone could do it better. We couldn’t recommend Just Bathrooms highly enough.

Through recommendation, we engaged Just bathrooms to design and construct our downstairs bathroom. The cost, quality and timely completion added to our confidence in Dave and his team. From there, we proceeded with constructing two upstairs bathrooms. The quality of construction was excellent, including design, carpentry, tiling, plumbing, painting and electrical.

I referred Dave and his team to another family member where a full turn key project was carried out from start to completion on renovating a down stairs dining/living room to creating a mobility bathroom, bedroom and living room. It was an amazing transformation over a 10-day period.

The undersigned lives in Beaufort, and the problem was to plan the remodelling of a bathroom to a mobility bathroom, for my 86 year old father-in-law living alone in a 60 year old semi detached house in the east surburbs of Cork City.
David McCarthy came on recommendation and we travelled to Cork together to consider the project. He gave us a laptop presentation of similar bathrooms to give us some ideas, and presented mounted displays of bathroom tiles etc. We had a detailed written quotation from David within 48 hours, a welcome feature. My father-in-law had two requirements, firstly he wanted the job done quickly and secondly, the availability of the toilet every night during work progress, in a situation where the toilet was to be moved to the other side of the bathroom, requiring extensive internal and external re-plumbing. My own requirement was that David was "hands on" the job himself.
My father-in-law and I considered 4 quotations and David's was the second cheapest. He won the project on all fronts, cost, detailed quotation, detailed presentation of ideas and changes, promise of completion of project within 5 days, and availability of nightly toilet facilities.
He started the following Monday with a team of two and finished within 4 days. This was achieved because they worked 14 hour days and stayed in Cork 2 nights. I went to Cork on 2 days to see work in progress. Extensive gutting of the bathroom was carried out with the minimum of disruption and dirt. All debris was removed and re-routing of external pipework repainted. The finished bathroom has been much admired and since completion in January of this year, has been trouble free. Attention to detail was shown by David in so many ways. An example was the routing of the heavy duty electric cable from the terminal box inside the front door to the upstairs bathroom shower was totally hidden.
Dealing with older people requires a lot of awareness, tact, and experience to meet their needs. My father-in-law still asks after David and his team. David is to be fully recommended.

Dealing with Dave was a pleasure, from start to finish. His enthusiasm, the wealth of ideas and suggestions he came up with, and the speed with which he returned quotes, and stuck to them, was exemplary. His team of builders and sub-contractors were efficient, hard-working and unfailingly polite, and Dave was always on hand or at the end of a phone to answer questions or fall in with change of plans (and you know how often women can change their minds!).
I am delighted with my patio, which has had many admiring comments from friends and family, but my pride and joy is the bathroom with it's bright, clean lines, the inlaid mosaic tiles strategically placed, and the tiny blue LED lights trimming the bath and base of the tiles, which add a real sense of spa feeling to the bathroom. These were not even my idea, but that of Eric, one of Dave's team.
The once upon a time garage at the side of the house was incorporated into the main building and now is an oasis of light looking on to the garden, with a range of handsomely crafted fitted units and concealed storage under benches - all the storage I could possibly need, and designed to look good.
Dave honoured his quotes throughout the project, and whenever an additional idea was added re-submitted another quote immediately. I do not hesitate to recommend him and his team to anyone lucky enough to engage him to renovate their home, and would consider that I have gained some friends into the bargain.

But you and your team were extremely professional for the week that you were here, I did not feel as if we were inconvenienced at all (thank you for putting the toilet back each night!).
